A specific step in the Asset Management Process is creating an inventory of all your assets in order to determine the importance of those assets and their condition using a balanced scorecard approach. The course will introduce you to the Inventory phase of the Asset Management Process. It will show you how to compile an accurate inventory of your park or agency’s assets. In addition, it will demonstrate how to create an Asset Priority Index (API) and a Facility Condition Index (FCI), which will help you determine your facility management priorities by examining the relationship between them.
This course is part of the Facility Management Certificate program although a student may take the course individually without enrolling in the Verified Online Facility Management Certificate.
