About

Many forms of communications are important to the success of a recreational sports league or tournament. All are critical for your events to succeed, not just as you plan to host your events now, but into the future if you expect to hold your leagues and tournaments year after year. In this course, you will learn about types of communication you will need to use, communication channels and methods, and marketing and promotions concepts to make your recreational sports leagues and tournaments successful.

This course is also part of the Fundamentals of Recreational Sports Management Certificate program. If you are taking the course outside of the certificate program, you will be assessed only via the multiple-choice quiz. If you are enrolled in the certificate program, you will be required to complete and upload a written assignment to be graded by the course instructor. All assignments must be passed in order to earn the certificate.
