This course of study is designed for those new to a supervisory role. The course will help new supervisors understand the knowledge, skills, and abilities that make up competencies and competency frameworks in the parks and recreation field and why they are important for talent management. It will help aid park and recreation professionals in developing competencies and managing staff with competencies in mind.
