In this course, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of what a team is and how it is different from groups. The course will explore how teams develop and specific considerations for creating an effective team. While the personalities and work styles of team members are important when putting together an ideal team, you also need to consider the environment the team will work in. This course identifies specific aspects of the environment that managers can cultivate to ensure the success of teams. Finally, the course reviews conflict and ways to handle conflict to keep the team moving forward in a positive, productive way.
