Course Schedule
This program is self-paced allowing flexibility in the time needed to complete the course. Following each course, you will complete an assessment which requires you to demonstrate understanding of key course concepts.
Trainers will also have a free companion facilitation guide and instruction for completing onboarding training with group exercises intended to reinforce learning from the e-courses.

- Course 5: Hazard Control Methods and Personal Protective Equipment
- Course 6: Recognizing an Opioid Overdose and Naloxone
Recommended Background
These courses are designed to meet the needs of new seasonal, part-time, and full-time parks and recreation employees and their supervisors/department heads.
Participants do not need to take any prerequisite courses. The New Employee Onboarding courses are designed so that concepts in the courses can be followed-up and discussed during in-person orientation.

No additional resources are required for this course.
Will I get a certificate after completing the course?
Yes! All courses include a final assessment to evaluate your understanding of key course concepts. A certificate of completion will be offered to you if you complete the assessment with a score of 80% or higher. You will earn a certificate of completion for a certificate program after completing all program assignments and the assessments with a score of 80% or higher.
