In July 2019, London became the globe’s first city to adopt the National Park City Charter and become the first National Park City. Join founder and urban recreation/conservation provocateur Daniel Raven-Ellison for a talk that explores the evolution of the movement, London’s path to adoption, and lessons learned in the first year of the program’s deployment in one of the world’s great urban centers. Participants will also get to speak with Jayne Miller from World Urban Parks to discuss ways their communities can be a part of this movement and possibly become one of the 25 National Park Cities across the globe by 2025.

After attending this webinar, participants should be able to:
- Understand the National Park Cities Charter that Guides How Cities Re-Invent Themselves
- Understand the path London took to become the world’s first National Park City
- Learn how this framework opens the door for power-sharing, equitable service expansion, and the delivery of the benefits of public park and the outdoors without bureaucracy.
